Here are five things I’ve been loving lately!
1.) These heels. A few of you asked for the link when I wore them on my Elizabeth Boutique LIVE this week (you can catch it just below if you missed it). They’re simple and chic, and most importantly, comfortable- the strap over the ankle gives you support.
3.) This heat protectant spray. It turns out not all heat protectant sprays are created equal! I have used this one for years on my airdried hair but when I recently ran out, I tried out two samples that I had received and then another one that I picked up at the drugstore out of convenience. No contest. Every other one I tried is sticky and changes the texture of your hair. This does nothing of the sort. I’ll never stray again!
4.) This French press. My husband brought it home for me this week as a surprise to “extend our anniversary” (we’d enjoyed leisurely French press coffees in bed over the weekend at the hotel we were married at four years ago). So yeah, he’s nice. And also, French press coffee is SO GOOD and I don’t even understand why. I’ll still be using my beloved automatic Nespresso on the daily because I can’t wait for the time to make the french press every day while wrangling my kiddos, but this is the nicest weekend treat.
5.) Possibly the best thing I have ever bought in my whole entire life. It’s a bold statement, friends, but it’s for real! I posted about this before on my personal instagram and I don’t think I’ve ever had so many people reach out to me with interest in anything before. It’s an odd fetish, but it’s a real one. I find delinting my couches to be so insanely therapeutic. I truly have to fight this thing away from my kids because they love doing it too! There is no joy like the joy of filling up the entire reserve tank with a whole bunch of fuzz and having a perfectly smooth cushion left behind in its wake. Trust me on this. Also works great as a practicality for sweaters and peacoats, aside from the fun.
Hope you all are looking forward to a great weekend! We’ve got a wedding tonight, pumpkin carving on Saturday, and a fun holiday photo shoot on Sunday!
