Here are five things I’ve been loving lately!
.) This dress. My mom took me shopping this week to Banana Republic to buy me a dress to wear for my birthday (you can spy her in the background wrangling my little wild-child Logan while I shop), and I fell in love with this lightweight herringbone dress. It’s beautiful and understated, well-made and classic. Another dress I fell in love with is marked down right here. You can view the whole try-on session on my Instagram Stories!
.) This shampoo and conditioner. You may remember that I love celebrity hairstylist Kristen Ess for her dry shampoo, and this duo from Target (only $10 apiece) is another huge win for me. The products are cruelty-free and sulfate-free. They are gentle, effective, and they smell sooo good. Seriously, they smell better than any cheap brand I’ve ever used (and a lot of the pricey stuff). Plus the bottles are astonishingly pretty for a drugstore brand!
.) This book. If it seems to you like I read a book a week, that’s because lately I do. Obviously you all know they’re all pre-vetted and lended to me from my mom’s personal library. So are you wondering how I have time to read so much? The answer is that the books my mom lends me are just so good from the get-go that I make the time. I even bring them along with me in the car in case the boys fall asleep so I can pull over and sneak some reading in! This one is a fun, cleverly written, suck-you-in thriller. I was stressing and guessing until the very end. I couldn’t go to sleep until I finished it!
.) This show. We’ve been bingeing it whenever we get a chance (which is far too infrequent since Grayson’s sleep is kind of a disaster these days and one of us has to be in his room with him to fall asleep). But, you guys- it’s SO good. I pretty much hate television but I’m always craving a good show. I usually determine within the first 12 seconds of a show that it’s not for me and go back to my book or my phone. But this one has such an intriguing plot and great actors- I’m so into it. No spoilers until we get a chance to finally finish it!
.) These toddler bowls and snack bowls. I love these because they’re toxin-free, easy to clean, and they walk that fine line between cute for kids while still not turning your kitchen cabinets into a colorful theme park- they’re simple and chic. These would make a good gift for a baby shower or first birthday!
